Abstract

Jacob Judah's model of Solomon's Temple caused a sensation in Europe. It was exhibited in the Netherlands and England. The author published a short, comprehensive description of the First and Second Temple in Spanish (1642), which was translated in several languages.

Translations

This was translated into Dutch in the same year; into French in 1643, by himself into Hebrew in 1650, with the title Tabnit Hekal, into German in 1665, by Saubert into Latin in that year, and into English in 1778, done by M. P. Decastro.
