Renata Conforty (F / Croatia, 1942), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Renata Conforty (10 Jun 1942) was born in Fiume, Croatia (then Italy), to Croatia refugees Salvatore Conforty and Olga Hamburger. They lived in Fiume in 1941/42. In February 1942 the family was sent as civilian internees to Modena (loc. Mirandola and later [Aug 1942], Zocca). After Sep 1943 they survived in hiding. In 1945, after Liberation, they were at Valenza Po (near Alessandria).
