Pietro Buchwald (M / Croatia, 1937), Holocaust survivor)

Biography

Pietro Buchwald (17 May 37) was born in Varazdin, Croatia, to Mirko Buchwald and Getrude Gelb. The family fled to Dalmatia. They were detained in Susak (1941-42) and then confined in Montecchio, Vicenza (1942-43). On 6 August 1944 they were in liberated Rome.
