Biography

Olaf Olsen was born June 7, 1928 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Since their mother was Jewish, he and his brothers escaped by fishing boat to Sweden during the Nazi round-up of the Jews in October 1943. Back to Denmark, Erling became a prominent archaeologist.
