Noemi Kunstlinger (F / Rhodes, 1941), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Noemi Kunstlinger was born January 31, 1941 in Rhodes, Greece [under Italian rule], to Slovak refugees Josef Kunstlinger and Julia Presser. Father and mother were among the passengers of the Pentcho Ship. They arrived at KZ Rhodes on October 18-19, 1940, where Noemi was born. After spending one year as refugees at Rhodes, they were then sent to Ferramonti on February 12, 1942, where the family remained until liberation (Sept 1943). In August 1944 the family was in Bari, Italy.
