Nicolaus Cusanus / Nikolaus von Kues / Nicholas of Cusa (1401-1464) was a German philosopher, theologian, jurist, astronomer, and a pioneer in Early Islamic Studies. His Cribratio Alchorani is a detailed review of the Koran as known through the Latin translation of Robert of Ketton.
