Nerone <Italian> (1915) is an opera by Arrigo Boito (mus.).

Abstract
Deals with the struggle between the Imperial religion and Christianity, and ends with the Great Fire of Rome.
Boito worked at the composition of the opera between 1877 and 1915. At his death in 1918, the unfinished score was completed by Vincenzo Tommasini and Antonio Smareglia, under the supervision of Arturo Toscanini, with the exception of the last act for which the composer had left only a few sketches.
