Moses und Aron <German> / Moses and Aaron (1932) is an opera by Arnold Schoenberg.

Abstract
Based on the Book of Exodus, the opera has its roots in Schoenberg's play, Der biblische Weg (The Biblical Way, 1926–27). Widely regarded as Schoenberg's master work, the opera remained unfinished and was first performed only after the death of the composer.

Premiered in Darmstadt, Germany: 2 July 1951 (concert performance); and in Zurich, Switzerland: Stadttheater, 6 June 1957 (stage production).
