Biography
Mila Alcalai (Rakila Mila Alcalay, 3 Nov 1926) was born in Belgrade, Serbia, to Sima Alcalai and Nela Celebonovic. She arrived at Spalato, Dalmatia as a refugee. From were in Dec 1941 she was sent as a civilian internee to Asti (loc. Cocconato). On 28 Oct 1943 she managed to escape to Switzerland.
