Menschensohn und historischer Jesus (1990) is a book by V. Hampel.

Abstract

The author argues that the "Son of Man" tradition (as attested in Daniel and the Book of the Parables of Enoch) provides the key to the messianic self-understanding of Jesus. There is continuity between the preaching of Jesus and the teaching of his first followers.
