Biography

Hanna (22 Mar 1928) and Maddalena (22 Jun 1933) Kugler were born in Fiume, Italy. Arrested while attempting to cross the Swiss border, they were deported to Auschwitz. Maddalena perished, while Hanna survived until Liberation.
