Biography
Jolika Kraemer was born February 8, 1939 in Lipsia, Germany, to Polish parents, Emil Kraemer and Pepie Katz. Refugees in Italy, in May 1940 they joined the Benghasi Group and went to Libya, hoping to sail to Palestine. From Lybia they were sent to Ferramonti in September 1940 and then to Berceto (Parma) in October 1941. After Sept 1943, they survived in hiding until liberation.
