Jesucristo Superestrella / Jesus Christ Superstar (2001) is a Mexican production of Jesus Christ Superstar (1970 Webber / Rice), opera, directed by Hansel Cereza, with Richard Stafford (choreographer), Isaac Saúl (musical director) and Alberto Pastor (stage designer). Spanish version of the libretto.
Abstract
New Mexican production, following the ones staged in Mexico City in 1975 and 1984. It gives the story a contemporary setting.
