Biography
Irena Librowicz was born May 5, 1931 in Częstochowa, Poland. She survived the Częstochowa Ghetto, before being smuggled to the Aryan side, thanks to the help of Polish friends. Her parents perished at Treblinka.
She moved to Palestine in 1947, where she became a poet and writer.
She died February 16, 2021.
