Biography

Halina Schutz was born July 10, 1928 in Lwow, Poland. Daughter of Izydor and Klara Klapper.

"Departure from Lviv to Krakow before the creation of the ghetto. Life on the so-called Aryan papers. In 1943, after being denounced, she was arrested together with her grandmother. Montelupich prison. The camp in Płaszów. In March 1944 she was sent to the camp in Skarżysko Kamienna. Work in a weapons factory. In July 1944 transported to the camp in Leipzig. Evacuation in April 1945. Liberation by American troops."
