Biography

Laura (b.1929), Andrea (b.1930) and Giulio (b.1937) were born in Rome, Italy, the children of composer Renzo Massarani (1898-1975) and Elda Costantini. In 1939, after the Racial Laws, the family fled to Brazil and settled in Rio where father worked as a music critic and teacher.

Giulio was a University Professor in Brazil and died there. After the death of Renzo in 1975 Elsa, Laura and Andrea moved back to Italy.
