Giuditta Frischer (F / Rhodes, 1941), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Giuditta Frischer was born November 11, 1941 in Rhodes, Greece [under Italian rule], to Slovak refugees Mikulas Frischer and Lilly Ickovic. Father and mother were among the passengers of the Pentcho Ship. On October 18-19, 1940 they arrived at KZ Rhodes, where Giuditta was born. They were then sent to Ferramonti on March 27, 1942 and from there to Matera on May 25, 1943, where they remained until liberation. In October 1944 the family was in Bari.
