Biography
Born 1939 in Bielsko, Poland.
A boy given to a Polish family for safekeeping during the deportation action. He was hiding behind the wardrobe and under the table. After the war, he was transferred to the Jewish Orphanage in Chorzów.
"I lived behind the wardrobe ... I never even went out into the sunlight. I never washed, I never had any toys. I stayed quite and covered myself with the quilt, which was full of lice. I thought I would be there for ever."
