Biography

Salomone (1934), Filippo (1936), Luisa (1938), Beniamino (1940), Vittorio (1942) and Vittoria (1944) were the children of Menasce Levi and Rosa Brucato. The family had come from Turkey and settled in Catania, Sicily. As "foreign" Jews they were interned at Cellere (Viterbo) in April 1941. After Sep 8, 1943, they survived in hiding. In 1945 they were at the DP camp of S.Maria al Bagno (LE).
