Biography

Born in Leipzig, Germany, on 14 March 1940, Evelin Schwartz was liberated at Bergen-Belsen on 15 April 1945. After recovering in Sweden, she was one of the five orphans brought to Ireland in 1947 by dr. Bob Collis and given into adoption. Evelin's adoptive family emigrated with her to Australia, where she lived ever since.
