Biography

Ruth Kanner (Oct 29, 1929) and Eva Kanner (Jan 12, 1931) were born in Halle, Germany. As refugees at the Chateau de Montintin in France, they were among the unaccompanied children aboard the SS Mouzinho (August 1941), reaching the United States.
