Eva Weiss / Chaja Blau (F / Czechia, 1932) and Vera Weiss / Rachel Eitan (F / Czechia, 1932) were twins and child survivors of the Holocaust.

Biography

NOTES : Eva & Vera Weiss were non-identical twins. They were born in Kosice, Czechia in 1932. After spending some time in the Kosice Ghetto, in the spring 1944 they were transported to Auschwitz, where they were selected for medical experiments by Josef Mengele. Both got very ill. In January 1945 they were forced on a Death March. The reached Ravensbrück and eventually Bergen-Belsen, where they were liberated. They were taken to a Hospital in Sweden, and in 1947 they emigrated to Israel. They both married Holocaust survivors.
