Biography
Dorotea Abraham was born June 28, 1935 in Zagreb, Croatia, to Ugo Abraham and Zlata Weiss. Mother and daughter fled to Slovenia (Ljubljana) (then under Italian occupation). From there they were transferred as civilian internees to Aosta. In January 1942 they were at Fiorano Canavese (AO) and at Chiaverano (AO) in May-June 1943. On 25 May 1944, they managed to escape to Switzerland.
