Carl Anderson

Carl Anderson (1945-2004) was an American singer and actor. After playing the character of Judas Iscariot for the musical Jesus Christ Superstar at Broadway (1971-72), he was part of the cast of the cinematic version in 1973. His strong performance earned him two Golden Globe nominations as "Most Promising Newcomer" and "Best Musical Actor". He continued to play the role of Judas Iscariot on stage in numerous productions in the United States and abroad, until his premature death in 2004.
