Abstract

This booklet was intended to instruct the author's grandchildren in Biblical history by giving them a clear insight into the history of the Jews from the time of the closing of the Old Testament to the birth of Christ as "an historical summary for my grandchildren's Bible of material facts to connect the Old with the New Testaments from the Babylonish captivity."

The English text was followed by its translation by the author in 8 other languages (Hebrew, German, French, Polish, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, and Scottish Gaelic):
