Benek Binenstock (M / Poland, 1928-2015), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Jacob Bayer was born April 28, 1928 in Warsaw, Poland, to Josek and Fajga. With his family he was forced to live in the Warsaw Ghetto and in the Lodz Ghetto. He was then deported to Auschwitz and in January 1945 to Buchenwald. He eventually ended up in Theresienstadt, where he was liberated in May 1945.

In August 1945 he joined the Windermere Children on their way to England. He emigrated to the United States in 1949.
