Simon ben Camith was the Jewish High Priest, 17-18 CE, under under Roman Governor Gratus, and Emperor Tiberius.

Overview

Simon ben Camith was appointed High Priest in 17 CE by the Roman Governor Gratus, succeeding Eleazar ben Ananus.

One year later, he was succeeded by Caiaphas.
