Joshua ben Damnaeus was the Jewish High Priest in 63 CE, under the Roman Governor Albinus.

Overview

Joshua ben Damnaeus briefly served as High Priest in 63 CE, when Ananus ben Ananus (of the House of Annas) was removed from office by the Roman Governor Albinus.

He was succeeded by Joshua ben Gamaliel of the House of Boethus.
