Abstract

Judas was actually Jesus’ most trusted disciple, the one he chose for the important job of “betraying” him to the authorities. Judas told his secret to his friend Philo, who wrote it all down on papyrus, sealed it up in a jar, and hid it until it was discovered in the 20th century.
