The Hungarian Society of Hebraists (2002-), (Magyar Hebraisztikai Társaság) is an association of Hungarian scholars who are concerned with the Hebrew language and culture in research and teaching.

Overview

Founded in 2002, it coordinates the work of Hungarian scholars of Hebrew. Presidents of the Society were: József Schweitzer, Ida Fröhlich. Actual board of leaders is consisted of József Zsengellér, president; Géza G. Xeravits, vice-president; Kornélia Koltai, secretary.
