Eugen Täubler (1879-1953) was a German Jewish scholar.

Biography

Studied history in Berlin under Otto Hirschfeld. A specialist in Classical Studies, was professor in Berlin, Zurich and Heidelberg. Escaping Nazi persecution, in 1941 moved to the United States, where he taught at Hebrew Union College.
