Lucrezia Tornabuoni (1425-1482) was an Italian poetess.

Biography

Lucrezia Tornabuoni, the wife of Piero de' Medici and mother of Lorenzo de' Medici, belonged to a noble family of bankers, who supported the Medici's rise to power. She was an accomplished poetess and patron of the arts.
