Vittorio Calcina (1847-1916) was an Italian film director.

Biography

Vittorio Calcina was born in 1847 in Turin [Italy].

A photographer, in 1896 he became the representative of the Lumière Brothers in Italy. He is credited as the first filmmaker in Italy.

He died in Milan in 1916.
