King Jesus (1946) is a novel by Robert Graves.

Abstract

The life and times of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of a first century Alexandrian scholar. Radical departure from usual biographical approach to life of Jesus with use of Jewish and pagan folklore. Jesus was the son of Mary's first husband, a son of Herod. Being the grandson of a king, he was then the legitimate bearer of the title King of Kings.
