Eduard Lohse (B.1924) is a German scholar.

Biography

Eduard Lohse was born on February 19, 1924 in Hamburg, Germany.

He was Professor of New Testament at the Universities of Kiel, 1956-1964, and Göttingen, 1964-1971. He served as the Lutheran Bishop of Hannover, 1971-1988.
