Joseph François Du Clot (1745-1821) was a Swiss-French scholar.

Biography

Du Clot was a Swiss Roman Catholic priest who saw his role as "avenging" the Christian Bible from the attack of its "enemies" (Voltaire, Buffon, Telliamed, Robinet, Diderot, La Mettrie).
