Elisabeth Schüssler Fiorenza (b.1938) is a German American scholar.

Biography

A graduate from the Universities of Würzburg and Munster, Germany, Elisabeth Schüssler Fiorenza is currently the Krister Stendahl Professor of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School. A pioneer of feminist interpretation, she was the first woman elected as President of the Society of Biblical Literature.
