Ain Kalmus (1906-2001) was an Estonian American novelist.

Biography

Ain Kalmus was born and raised in Estonia. He then studied at Andover Newton Theological college in the United Studies, 1931-1935.

Back to Estonia, Ain Kalmus served as a Baptist minister and editor of magazines.

In 1944, Kalmus fled to Sweden and moved to America in 1948, where he worked as a minister and educator.
