Charles Warren (1840-1927) was a British archaeologist.

Biography

An officer in the British Royal Engineers, in 1867-1870 Warren went to the Ottoman Province of Palestine with the Palestine Exploration Fund, where he conducted the first major excavations of Jerusalem and Jericho.
