Heinrich Rosenthal

Biography

Heinrich Rosenthal was born 18 APr 1924 in Vienna, Austria, to Phillip and Adele. He was a refugee in France at Chateau de La Guette. Six La Guette boys who were in school at École Pratique d’Artisanat Rural in Brive-laGaillard (Corrèze) were arrested in August of 1942. Fritz Dawid, Walter Loeb, Herbert Menkes, Georg Reichenfeld, Heinrich Rosenthal, and Ludwig Scheucher were sent to Nexon and then to the internment camp Drancy and deported on 26 Aug 1942. Ludwig Scheucher was the only to survive.
