Das Leben Jesu als Grundlage einer reinen Geschichte des Urchristentums (1828) is a book by Heinrich Paulus.
Abstract
"Dargestellt durch eine allgemeinverständliche Geschichterzählung über alle Abschnitte der vier Evangelien : und eine wortgetreue, durch Zwischensätze erklärte Uebersetzung des nach der Zeitfolge und synoptisch-geordneten Textes derselben."
Paulus argued that Jesus was left unconscious on the cross by the fumes that preceded the earthquake of Mt 27:51. He somehow survived in the tomb without any help, and thus "appeared" to his disciples.
