Jean-Baptiste Glaire (1798-1879) was a French scholar.

Biography

Catholic priest, Hebraist, Biblical scholar. Born in Bordeaux, France. Ordained to the priesthood in 1822. Professor at the seminary of Saint-Sulpice (1822-1825) and then at the University of Paris Sorbounne (1825-1851).
