Vito Fornari (1821-1900) was an Italian Roman Catholic theologian. Born in Molfetta, Apulia, he joined the priesthood in 1843. A supporter of the Italian Risorgimento, in 1860 he was appointed Prefect of the National Library of Naples. He was author of works of philosophy and theology.
