Barbara Cohen (1932-1992) was an American Jewish novelist. Born March 15, 1932 in Asbury Park, New Jersey, she earned her BA (1954) from Barnard College and her MA (1957) from Rutgers University. She was a prolific author of children's literature of various subjects, including Biblical stories. Cohen died in 1992.
