Isaac Casaubon

Isaac Casaubon (1559-1614) was a French Hugonot scholar and philologist. In 1602 he collected the Enoch Fragments of Syncellus from a ms. located in the library of Catherine de Medici in Paris and sent a copy of them to his friend Joseph Justus Scaliger who published them in 1606.
