Lujo Bakotić / Лујо Бакотић (1867-1941) was a Serbian scholar, lawyer, journalist, and diplomat. A Serbian Catholic and fervent nationalist, Bakotić studied Law in Vienna and Graz. After WW1, he served as the Serbian Ambassador in Vatican and later in Russia. Fluent in French, Italian, German, English and Latin, Bakotić completed in 1933 the translation of the whole Bible into Serbian.
