Maria Ventura (born Aristida Maria Ventura; 1888-1954) was a Romanian-French actress. In 1910 she played Salome on the screen. From 1919 to 1941 she worked at the Comédie-Française, becoming In 1938 the first woman to direct a play there. She died in Paris (aged 66).
