Constance Crawley

Constance Crawley (1879–1919) was an English actress, best known for leading roles in Shakespeare tragedies. Born in London, she was active as an actress in England and the United States, on stage and in silent films. In 1914 she was the first actress to play Mary Magdalene as the protagonist in a movie. She died in Los Angeles, CA (aged 48).
