Harry Dean Stanton

Harry Dean Stanton (1926-2017) was an American actor, known for his roles in television and film. In 1988, in The Last Temptation of Christ by Martin Scorsese, he had a small yet memorable part as Paul of Tarsus meeting Jesus of Nazareth and telling him that whatever he did or said does not really count as the one whom he preaches is the "risen Christ" of the Christian faith.
