Nicolao Godinho

Nicolao Godinho / Nicolaus Godignus (1559-1616) was a Portuguese Jesuit and scholar. Born in Lisbon, joined the Jesuit order at Coimbra in 1573 at the age of 14. In 1615 in his work on Ethiopia he took up Urreta's report about the existence there of a copy of the "lost" book of Enoch. Died in Rome.
